The Debre Genet Gelila Mariam Church Renovation Committee (U.S.) has been formed to restore this historical Church in collaboration with the
Debre Genet Gelila Mariam Church Renovation Committee (Ethiopia) which has received legal status with the Ethiopian Orthodox Church administration in Addis Ababa. The purpose of this Committee is for the renovation
and preservation of the Church’s religious treasures by soliciting funds from individuals and Ethiopian Orthodox Churches abroad.
